Our consultants are each assigned to specific clients, so 99.9% of the time they will always be handling tickets for their own group of clients.
I am reviewing alerts associated with monitors ( we are pretty new to Labtech ) and am not seeing how to generate an email alert for various monitors ( ie., backups failed, drive is going bad ) to be sent to the technician associated with the client.
For example, I can drill into an Alert template and I see the section for "Alert Contact." IT allows me to select a Contact or a User/Technician.
The User/Technician selection lists our consultants' names, but they are hardcoded at the alert level. So if I selected myself to receive alerts associated with Server Offline, then I will receive that alert for ALL clients. I would only want to receive it for the clients that I manage.
I could choose Contact, but contacts will be populated with users at the client site.
How can I accomplish this task?
