Spltting off IIS for Agent checkin and Active CC sessions

Postby rod.platteriver » Wed Jun 27, 2018 5:17 pm

We currently have a split server environment with an App server (also IIS), a Control server, a DB server and a replication DB server. We are looking to separate out IIS to stand alone on 2 servers. One for Agent check ins and the other for active Control Center Sessions. What would be the recommendations for CPU, Memory, etc. and what would be required for additional FQDN's to make it work? In addition, what is the best way to make the multiple FQDN's talk to each other? our current configs look like this:

LabTechAPP01 - 160GB SSD / 12GB RAM / 4 vCPU / Server 2012R2
LabTechSC - 160GB SSD / 12GB RAM / 4 vCPU / Server 2012R2
LabTechDB01 - 120GB SSD / 150GB SSD / 1TB SSD / 32GB RAM / 8 vCPU / Server 2012R2
LabTechDB02 - 120GB SSD / 100GB SSD / 2TB SSD / 20GB RAM / 4 vCPU / Server 2012R2

Any advice is good advice! ;)
