White Paper or ??

I cannot find anywhere a good discussion of email; how to set it up in LabTech, utilize MS Exchange (if it exists in environment), proper settings for SMTP server, etc. Is there a white paper, how-to, or just someone to talk to about setting up email???

I agree we can not get the email function to work in our labtech. We have ran the setup tests and everything comes back good but when we are working with alerts and tickets we do not recieve any emails.

Just started experiencing these email problems myself. It was working fine until I changed the e-mail address in the dashboard and location contacts to a new one. Has not worked since.

Glad to see I am NOT the only one; rather pitiful no LabTech employees are responding. When I created a ticket, tech referred me to some "Implementation team" for pay by the hour "consulting" !!! I'm pretty disgusted........ getting involved with LabTech beginning of last yr. it was a MUCH MORE Partner friendly experience. Pre-sales people and others including Tech manager were far more helpful than now

What solved it for me was that I was using the same e-mail address in the DASHBOARD/Config/Mail Setup setup as the one that was being used by the Ticket/scripting system. Apparently this creates some sort of e-mail ticket loop so they need to be different. Maybe this can help shed some light on your problem. If it is even related.

Thank you, Sir.............. Discovered that myself several weeks into NOT getting mail; of course, undocumented item you get to stumble onto by accident..........

Having the issue where responses to tickets are sent no problem, however replies to tickets are jsut sitting in the mailbox, control centre is not checking via pop3. I know the settings (usernme, password) are correct as tried them on outlook.

Anybody hd similar difficulties in getting the pop3 to work?
